CODE OF ETHICS, PREVENTION POLICY, AND HANDLING OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

IN CREDIT RATING ACTIVITIES

 

INTRODUCTION

S&I Ratings Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or “S&I Ratings”) is committed to implementing necessary measures to prevent and mitigate conflicts of interest that may affect the principle of “independence and objectivity” in credit rating activities as stipulated in Decree No. 88/2014/ND-CP and Decree No. 151/2018/ND-CP, as well as ensuring the establishment, maintenance, and enforcement of fundamental principles related to the activities of credit rating organizations of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO Principles”), and the ethical standards in the code of ethics according to the standards of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (hereinafter referred to as “IOSCO Code”).

To fulfill the above commitment, the Company establishes and implements the Policy for Prevention and Handling of Conflicts of Interest in Credit Rating Activities (hereinafter referred to as the “Conflict of Interest Prevention Policy” or “Policy”) which includes the following basic provisions:
